Soon the Summer Solstice will be upon us, then the nights start drawing in as the seasons march towards winter, with the growing sense of anticipation that Autumn brings. Put the dates in your diary and be sure to join Winterhighland in celebrating the arrival of Winter with Warren Miller’s 59th annual snowsports film CHILDREN OF WINTER.Winterhighland will again be hosting two Black Diamond tour nights in late Nov and early Dec, in Perth and Aberdeen. Then on Thurs 4th Dec Winterhighland returns to the new Eden Court, where in early December 2007 Warren Miller’s PLAYGROUND played to  a  full house.

The Warren Miller Film Tour returns to the Perth Concert Hall’s Norrie Miller Studio for the second year, once again providing a second opportunity to see the annual film in Perth. Tickets will be on-sale from this website and other outlets in early Autumn.

Aberdeen: Vue Lighthouse<TBC>

Winterhighland is presenting an additional Aberdeen screening on behalf of BlackDiamond, but with all the usual goody bags and intermission prize giveaways. This will be a superb night to meet up with fellow Winterhighlander’s from around the North East and no doubt taken in a refreshment or two as well as the film.

After two and half years of reconstruction work the New Eden Court opened it’s doors late 2007 and Warren Miller’s PLAYGROUND was amongst the first film nights in the new purpose built cinema, a jam packed full-house and great prize giveaway ensured a fabolous evening with a superb atmosphere. This year be sure not to miss out on your chance to enjoy the masterpiece that is Warren Millers CHILDREN OF WINTER in the splendour of the new Eden Court.
