Ah in my haste to get in on the act I obviously forgot about that! It's in Glasgow, again, not near any Ski Resorts but from reading a few posts, I thought it was eating cakes...anywhere (hangs head in shame as cake obsession comes to light)

Hmm, quite handy for one of the Glasgow offices of my dearly beloved employer. I'm sometimes nearby on Cochrane Street, so a visit to check out the wares is not out of the question. Cheers for that.

The Wee Blether Tea Room. Loch Ard
56°11'16.97"N / 4°29'27.70"W
Vaguely grumpy service when you turn up at 4.15 after a days canoeing (they close 430)... but biggest & tasiest Victoria sponge ever... and parsnip & maple cake!!
The size of slices... these were not cakes to die for. These were heart attack inducing portions.
You go to Aberfoyle and with the woolen mill on left go straight on instead of following the road which veers right and uphill to the Trossachs. Narrow road for about 4 miles... when you think of giving up its probably another half a mile. well worth the trip
