Thanks for all the support shown on this forum, we really appreciate it.
Please don't panic if you can't access the Glencoe mountain website for a couple of days - it's currently being transferred to new servers.

The sale went through at tea-time on Friday by lunch time on Saturday the staff and the volunteer rescue squad and their families had the chairs of the access chair for maintenance and season ticket holders from Glencoe Ski Club and the Scottish Ski Club had six months of detritus picked up from the car park. Season ticket holders are looking forward to handing in their cheques and photographs on Sunday. Not sure that the cafe will be open but they are advertising for a restaurant manager this week.
Things are looking good.

Great news
GC is the only place I have not got to ski in our bonnie scotland. Really meant to get up there last season but never got round to it. Was bricking it as I was beginning to think I had missed my chance! It'll be first on the list for this year (weather permitting of course) . . .
Here's hoping the new business makes some money, both with and without the snow - at the end of the day that's what they need to keep going. The club idea is half decent but was never going to lead to serious expansion, renewal & diversification. Mon the snow!

Just to repeat what has been said before, I am so happy that glencoe is going to open. I owe a great debt to all the people who made it happen.
I am so greatful to be able to go riding in scotland, to have it all on my doorstep (weather permitting). This made me realise that I shouldn't take that for granted, and that a lot of people have to work very hard to make it work.
Now, all that out of the way all we need is some SNOW. (please?)

This has totally made my day, here was me dreading having to hike up the mountain, but i am so glad it is open, not only are the staff awesome, the scenery is amazing and there is no where else in Scotland i would rather spend a snowy day.
Absolutely awesome, Kudos to all those involved and all the positive messages from alot of the regulars.
