I'm not a mountain biker. However I have heard mixed reports.
Some say similar to that, others say it has potential. It is only marked as a blue run I do beleive and although it does follow landrover tracks from the top of the Cairnwell, there are purpose built features for Novice Mountain bikers. I think this is mainly because of restrictions set on by the Estate owners, but if it becomes a success it could expand nicely. Possibly to the callibre of Glencoe? Plenty of useable terrain anyway. They just need the willingness of all parties involved. It was only set up 2 or 3 years ago and has been improving each year. I hope it becomes a success. However the Glenisla Mountain biking developement will be literally just over the hill from it, so they will need to up their game.
Heres a video of it: [

A new blue-graded mountainbike track has recently been opened at the Glenshee Ski Centre, Scotland. Access to the track is by chairlift, and costs £15/day for adults and £12/day for juniors or an adult single run is £5 and £4 for juniors. The track is open from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, 7 days a week. Glenshee is the closest lift-assisted track to all the major Scottish cities, is midge free, has stunning scenery and has a large cafe. They have plans to develop new tracks in the future, so head up and support what has the potential to be an amazing mountain bike destination. The area offers a wealth of big-mountain riding in the Southern Cairngorms. www.ski-glenshee.co.uk for info and type Glenshee into multimap for location.
