Um, yea

What can I say

--Get to Glencoe tomorrow--

I skipped lunch and didn't care

The walk across the Plateau was forgotten after one run

The runs were in excellent condition (save for occasional wind scouring)

The weather was bluebird (can't guarantee this for you grinning smiley)

and the mountain is totally loaded.

In the afternoon the tech crew was de-icing the Main Basin Platter for possible use tomorrow. STAND BY YOUR EMAILS!!!!~

(In case you didn't guess I had a good day, thanks!)

My first day's skiing on this hill for 15 years. Just beautiful. Great snow but top section of Spring Run was a bit scrapey. Lower down in the shade it was fantastic. Even skied all the way back to the car park at the end of the day.

SSC Hut Giving a particularly nice view at 11.20am, snow shower to the north clearing, leaving blue skies behind, its a shame the summit cam hasn't updated since back of 9 this morning when it was overcast.

great day again, some fresh overnight has made conditions 4.5/5, blue skies and hardly any wind all day, and the plateau poma was on again by afternooon so no walk needed now, why go anywhere else!

The run right under the cliffhanger for me. Another great day at Glencoe with a complete run back to the base... in December.

(and the plateau button was running as I was leaving...)

The Wall was phenomenal today. Powder burn turned my legs to jelly by the end of the day but so much fun to be had,i hardly stopped riding all day. Back tomorrow for more of the same.

Hit the carpark run after seeing the plateau tow on but it had broken again by the time we got back up....doh. Hope they got it fixed today. Tough down low but great to get top-to-bottom twice, seemed to be really loaded with snow for so early in the season up top.

Noticed there was a pretty equal skier/boarder ratio, clffhanger chair seemed to be running about 90% boarders (no wonder, doubling up on the t-bars at Glencoe hurts!). Up top there were more skiers but must have been close to 50/50 overall.

Hiked up creag dhu for some fun turns on skiers left of the access chair at the end of the day. Incredible amount of snow on the mid mountain.

Ski patrol reckon the most snow pre-xmas at Glencoe for perhaps 20 years thumbs up.
Some superb skiing on the west coast right now.

Few more pics here
