Cracking pic ross. often in skiing the steepness of the slope is lost in a photo... not there.

Nice to see some Dynafit on folks feet yeaterday and nice meeting up with you folks. There's so much gloom and doom about this season in some quarters about snow cover and yet Glencoe is in great condition and yet so quiet. My legs were shredded last night with no ques and from hammering it. Glencoe must have the best conditions in Scotland at the moment?

Looks like the AWS at the bottom of the Access Chair has had a few too many triple digit gusts, it packed up at lunchtime on Tuesday. Unsure what the problem is, but will be onsite over the next couple of days.

Also having a bit of a glitch with SSC cam that connects over the Vodafone GPRS network only intermittently picking up the data service, notably the SSC camera is working today when there is no-one the hill which could be a capacity problem as there basically isn't any for data services on the mast it picks up!

The Summit Webcam is working off temp hardware that needs to be manually started up, hope to restore the normal equipment on Thursday weather permitting and get it back to normal service.

Looks like the Internet connection to Glencoe has died.

Edit: Hmm. I am getting the same message from other sites. I think my ISP's peering with BT is down.

For anyone else who gets this, its a DNS issue, and your local system will have cached the address.

- Close all browser windows
- Start Command Prompt
- Do ipconfig /flushdns in command prompt
- Close command prompt
- Restart browser and reload page

If it still does it, do a force-reload (CTRL+F5, or hold down shift then click reload icon)

Car Park today was fullest i have seen it in a while, Only managed up for the afternoon, but the snow on the upper mountain was great.
Queue for access poma and cliffhanger was sloooowwww, but once we started using wall t-bar it queues went pretty quickly. Rannoch button helped make the main basin queue move along surprisingly quickly too. Nice day smiling smiley
Good to know they made some cash. was busy though so no doubt not everyone enjoyed it.

Same with me, but the walk isn't too bad.

Fab snow at glencoe yesterday. Just a shame the baby rope tow has been moved. The snow was very narrow and patchy with not much room for the youngsters to make turns. The old position was maybe better for kids and learners ? Looked like better snow over there and much more space. With young children being close to the cafe and toilet is essential.
