Agree with Cammy and Snowflo, Great day all round! Really enjoyed myself, Again everyone I spoke to thoroughly enjoyed themselves and snow cover was very good I think smiling smiley

Didn't get to see the PB 600 but seen the 170, hopefully see it out of it's garage next time I'm up.

The Red Race Track was my piste of the day and the small powder field between the blue and red runs was superb!

I had a great day! I'd definitely be back tomorrow if I wasn't working sad smiley!

Car parks not that full but sunnyside car park only a bit cleared and that bit was full. However, i dont doubt glenshee wil have as much cleared as poss for tomorrow.

Queues today, only really at cairnwell t bar but i dont think i waited longer than 10 mins, then they opened up another piste, so queue thinned out.

Aint it fun!

Only 3 rows of cars I think? We arrived at 9am and were in the first row. They cleared more snow from the rest of the car park as I was leaving tonight. Que's were fine, no more than a two minute wait for Cairnwell T-Bar as is was providing the best sport. Lots of rides going up along so ques could maybe be easied a wee bit? I dunno though? Looked as if Butcharts Access was being preped for tomorrow.

I had a cracking day!

Dont worry about parking! 5 rows max today and When I left at about 4pm the john deer had already cleared about double what was already clear and still going.

I wasnt queuing for very long at all and whenever there was a long one I just went for a quick one on the deserted claybokie. Come back later queue not so bad. Also butcharts access is shceduled to be open tomorrow so all round I cant see queus being that bad.

Id also say red race track was my pick of the day.

My report (+some photos) can be found here [www.winterhighland.info] Not done one of these in a while, also Im knackered after today, so expect some mistakes.

Really good day today.........Everyone in good mood and snow was pretty good. A few thin bits but nothing to worry about. They managed to open Butcharts for last run of day.............nicely pisted.
All in all a good day for 1st day of season getting ski legs going and no doubt day 2 will be tomorrow.
Cleared quite a bit of car park by time we left.

Was the 'gully' bellow butcharts/ the bunny run filled in? One of my personal favourites winding through there. Good to see the place open, hopefully the snow this week will open a ton of new terrain.

Which lifts were open today and idea idea which are planned for tomorrow? I was planning to go to Glencoe, but with no electric on the main basin tows I think a trip the GS is in order if there will be enough lifts open.

I've been a bit more wordy in the Public Report - but had an awesome day. Great winter snow everywhere on the Cairnwell side. The grooming team did a great job taking the crust off. If the weather looks good, go.

WRT the new charilift, all chairs appeared to be up. Boxes were being hung on the Butchart's T-Bar at the end of the day, saw some mention of a park soon, there's plenty of snow in that area for them to work with.
