Cammyammy, an idea for a lift is tel glenshee as they have a buss pick up staff from blairgowrie, and im sure one of the lifties working last sunday lives in blairgowrie.
Also last year a member of staff in a 4x4 joined the a93 on the junc that is on tat steep double bend.maybe they are near alyth.
Also a couple young lads in a w reg car last year were heading up from blairgowrie direction-again they were staff( i think onee of them ticket office).
So tel gleshee n asking may offer another solution:-)
Anyway aplogies for going off topic.
Back on topic glenshee snow (from what i can see)still looking good:-)
Aint it fun!
Haha cheers Snowflo, you make it sound like you sit at that corner watching traffic with an eagle eye.
I know a good number of the staff do come fae Blair/Alyth area and that there is a bus. The big problem is that I live in the countryside 7 miles north of Alyth and without a car theres no way I'll make it to Blair for that time. And its also strictly not a public bus apparently.
My AA fiend is trying to get me an engine and fit it, though I owe it to the man as hes working 9 solid days and doing it in his spare time. Still going to cost £500 to fix it (the cars only worth £1k!). Hopefully I should get it back before christmas, but in the mean time Im hoping to borrow a car that should get me sorted for this weekend!
Iv gone way off topic too, so to balance it out, Im hearing great results from up that way. Sunnyside (and possibly beyond) looks like it could be a goer by the weekend meaning at least one step closer to the mighty Maol! Also snow-forecast.com is suggesting a good dump next satuday night!
