Snow Shoes, I want some.
Date Posted: 15.57hrs on Wed 7 Dec 11
Simple Question:

Does anyone know of a anywhere in Tayside or even Braemar that sells decent snow shoes that I could potentially get in time for this weekend?

Thanks

Yep, certainly worth giving Braemar Mountain Sports a call, I'm fairly certain I've seen them in there before...

This place at glenmore is hiring them:

Mountain Spirit told me last year that there was nowhere in the UK you could hire snowshoes, so I guess this is new this year...

The ski hire place in braemar (one that operates from the church)rents them out - they're not open yet though.

I mentioned snowshoes to a skier (I am a snowboarder obv.) and he called people who use them a "bunch of postholing **********)"

If you've eaten today, thank a Farmer
