As im fairly new to t barring, nervous etc i go alone. It never occured to me this could happen from skis. Does that happen with another snowboarder too?
In reply to post 2-its not about the board never getting scratched, its a principle thing here. Perhaps id scratch the guy's car or whatever, if he's on hire skis, then just say sorry.

go on pomas and t-bars on your own matey if you want, it's your decision and nobody has the right to tell you not to. they can ASK you if you'll dpouble up, but if you dont want to for your own reasons, they have to accept your answer.

Yes grumpy i agree, no one has the right to tell someone else what to do, esp when it's based on opinions/view points.
I worry more that ill injure someone by losing my balance.
Another thing how do you double up with a shorter person??
