David - I think everyone was a bit pissed last night. winking smiley

Seriously great event though, great people, great event and some pretty great skiing given the conditions.

Nothing that a bit of crisp mountain air can't clear.
I see that the Coe Cup website continues to update us with its upbeat message ...

"Due to poor snow conditions and for the safety of competitors the date for the Coe Cup has been re-scheduled to 24th and 25th March"

Give the webmaster a Coe Cupcake!

Due to the very limited ADSL connection I gather its not been possible to update the website from the Ski Area. It's been attempted and failed!

FIS results usually take days to update, I think they've done a great job to even get a decent site up and going in a short time. Anyway winners have been anounced on the FB page: [www.facebook.com] not sure if we'll get a full ranking?

The event was fantastic, great competition face & conditions (given the snow shortage) and great people. Thanks due to everyone who put in the effort to make it happen from [whitedotfreeride.com] and all the staff at Glencoe.

Awesome backflip sequence [www.facebook.com] and the most impressive thing was he went back up at the end of the competition to try again.

Hi David,

I'm very sorry that I've disappointed you on my website work. Unfortunately the broadband wasn't enough in my caravan at Glencoe to update it and yesterday I had to drive the 7 hours home. First thing I did this morning when I walked in the house was update the site but I thank you for you valuable input.

To all the sponsors and especially the athletes. Wow, you made it a weekend I'll never forget. Especially the high class of riding and the spirit.

Thanks

PS and a quote from Jeremy Nobis from yesterday on the drive home "Glencoe with snow has the potential to be one for the best freeride competition venues anywhere"

Even without snow he was blown away by the mountains and saw the potential of them with snow.

Just finished a wee gallery

Note that if the Men's skier who came last and of stomped his back flip he would have likely been in the top 5. Falls mean everything eh.
