It seems weird how the coe cup has managed to get WFTQ status after the first year?

That is incredible news. The last Scottish snow event that has got attention overseas that I can think of was Speed skiing in the 80's?

I wasnt there but having heard the raves and seen the videos I wish I was. Will go, but maybe not enter, next year; Not convinced my riding is quite up to the level of some of those riders.

Not really when you clearly have oodles of cash to bribe a bunch of people all over the world to make your event a qualifier to make hoardes of people visit then you can charge £50 a day an £8 a bacon roll and buy that yacht you knew was just around the corner when you bought the ski centre no one wanted.

anyway im still surprised you weren't there it would have been an easy afternoons work for you and you would have won some skis, maybe a spot prize for shit talker

Probably helps having Freeride World Tour ski suppliers as main partners in Coe Cup... Eva Walkner got a 1st recently on WDF skis. New markets an' all that.
