Fabulous pictures from the UKC forum. Very unusual, and indicative of the big snowstorms earlier in the season, coupled with the mild temperatures of late. These sort of features normally occur later in the season, and are well known in the Cairngorms in late spring.

I wonder if it'll look anything like that in a couple of months' time. Remember, there's still a lot of winter left to arrive above 3000 feet before the end of April! As an eternal optimist, I always adopt a half glass full approach!
