Re: Help Anyone got conformables footbeds? How do they feel?

Also superfeet can be good, but they do not do the same thing as a custom footbed. Superfeet merely stabilize and centralize your heel in the boot. Unless you are really lucky 1/1,000,000 then it will not radically adjust your foot so that it sits in a neutral position. Also don't shell out even more money until you've had these custom footbeds properly looked out - if they are done right they should work!!

Hi godders, thanks for the info. Comments on your points below:
1. my insoles look like the first picture. None of the sole has been ground in anyway and the heel basically looks like an imprint of my heel ie curved. The sides have been ground to smooth them off.
2. I will check the insoles for size against the original ones tonight, but I think they are ok as the guy did shape them.
3. The boots are very tight putting on. My hubby has to pull the tongue hard forward for me to get into them (which is what the guy did in the shop). They are easing off a bit after 2 days wear. I have quite skinny legs therefore not alot of force to push my feet in which doesn't help. But I do sit down and do them up like you state.
5. I used to have orthotics in my work boots but I have had them out for the past year as I was getting a tightness up the back of my achilles when I started running again. I can't run with the orthotics in and I think that I was overstretching the achilles when running without them in. Only my opinion and I don't get the tightness now.
I tried last night to upload some pictures but they were all coming out too large for the sizes which we are allowed to post. Don't know how else to reduce the sizes.
Thanks
Fluff
