Found these pix when having a little look at snow.co.nz to scout out some skiing in NZ. Looks like they've had a little bit of the white stuff in Eastern Canada of late. Check out these shots from the Trans-Labrador highway north of the Quebec province last week.

Maybe the canadians are looking to donate snow to scotland. Would go down a real treat. Or they are looking to swap countrys for a few winters

Indeed... my stepson, who lives in New Brunswick would be delighted for us to have his snow... he's had to buy a replcement snow blower as his old one wore out. He reckons he's had to shift over six feet from his driveway this year!

Eastern Canada has had more snow than usual this year and also very low temperatures. Scotland seems a bit of a contrast with a record February temperature of 63F in Lossiemouth yesterday

Surely there is enough there to last through the summer! I wonder how he knows where the road is?... or do you reckon he is making it up as he goes along?

Simon F1: Planning some skiing in NZ? Where are you heading? I'm going out for the season mid june to Wanaka and riding Treble Cone. Looks well sweet, can't wait.

Would be very happy if they donated the top half of that snowpack to us! Could the very cold, snowy winter in Eastern Canada be contributing to our winter that seems to be alternating between cold and mild or an almost weekly basis.
