Hi
CML could try advertising on the trains in the central belt, there's loads of those advertising panels in Scotrail's carrages, usually with the message 'Advertise Here' --> which probably means they're expensive!
There's nothing else to do as a commuter while listening to the conductors latest excuse from the 'Scotrail Book Of Crap Excuses' as to why we are running late (yet again)!
Few pics of folk having fun in the snow would do it...

Wow - Orchestra del Sol are a great band - they were complete showstoppers at Belladrum a few years back. They do a sort of 'gig on the move' kind of thing and everyone follows them around like a wee carnival. Are they going to parade up and down the Ciste run?
Colin is being very mysterious about the Ciste chair on the CML Blog. Lots of backroom discussions.....
Are they going to refurb what they've got or do they need to trash everything and start again? And is it true SNH putting the boot in the Mountain Biking idea?
Is this the wrong thread for this question?

A very strong case for building a proper path / narrow track from the middle of the Ciste out to the Carpark can be made - the existing sort of path can be a complete quagmire and such tracks encourage erosion from people spreading out around the bogs.

I heard last Sunday that (I think) Scottish Natural Heritage are objecting to a mountain bike track as proposed by CML and that was holding up plans for the chairlift.
But a good, well-drained path that could be multi-purpose would be better that a hike down, any ol how - as Alan says,
Anyway, I heard it all in the poma queue, which is always a perfectly reliable forum!

SNH = a pain in the arse.
I hope they aren't putting the boot into the mountain bike track idea as I think it would be great and provide some extra summer income.

The quirks of social media - we have Winterhighland, snowheads, etc. Then we have Colin's blog.

Does anyone know what the plans would be for the chairlift?

What's the story with next week (w/s Sun 3 April), as I'm heading north:
School holidays, races, other events, late opening, reduced ticket prices etc?
