At the top of the Fly Paper.

Superb powdery snow, prefect blue sky and unbroken sunshine mark the start of the 2004 season at Glencoe.

On Top of the World.. Well the top of Meall a' Bhuiridh!!

Thanks to George Paton, and Tim Stirling for this selection of cracking photos from Glencoe's first day of the 2004 season, a day we may not have seen, but for the dedication of the small core of staff at the 'Coe, the Glencoe Ski Patrol, and the other volunteers who helped staff the lifts.

All runs were offering superb sport, a mix of packed powder on the heavier traffic areas, and fresh untracked powder beyond. Blue sky, blazing sun, and untouched powder to lay tracks on, that's the way to start the season....

Not much else to say, the pix speak for themselves... Just thanks to everyone who made the day possible. Click on the image for the full sized picture.
