Mostly fine overhead conditions and good granular spring snow, made for a fine day's riding on the mid and upper mountain. Snow from top of Ptarmigan Tow up and on the Plateau stayed firmer, and is likely to be that way on Wednesday too for anyone considering touring.
In the snowsports area all Top Basin Runs are complete with a generally good depth, though some areas aren't all that wide there is plenty of good quality areas for beginners in the Ptarmigan Bowl.
The Traverse remains in good shape with scope for some off-piste above it. The Cas is quite narrow but offering good spring snow riding and has been largely deserted recently.
For experts the White Lady is complete to the M1 Poma and to the Mid-Station by the same route. M1 is complete via 'Horizon Road' and the Cas Gunbarrel, some narrow sections but good spring snow on Tuesday.
