The M2 is perfect machine packed powder. Slight wind scouring on ridge tops, but can ski the Aonach Ridge to the Ciste Carpark.

Decisions on the Ciste Fairway at the start of the M2. Top Basin is wall to wall machine packed powder heaven for those seeking easier going thrills.

Skiers on the East Lady, looking out to a frozen Loch Morlich and snowy Strath beyond. Ride anywhere from here to the Daylodge.

Middle slopes and mid-station from high on the East Lady. Upper East Lady now skier packed powder. Further out some crusty bits, but powder stashes in the shallow bowls.

West Wall Poma on Thursday afternoon, M2 beyond.

Almost buried lift shack at the foot of the M1 Poma.

Area between Gunbarrel and Chicken Gully pisted, cross the Cas T-bar before foot of Gunbarrel as the last 100 yards is a mess thanks to lack of drifting!

Daylodge Poma is the place to be for queue free off-piste delights, visit the Daylodge Glades skiers left of the poma, but don't trip over the pine trees!

Heading up the Fiacaill Ridge Poma as the cloud begins to lift and break on Thursday afternoon.

The M2 is absolutely loaded, a fantastic long blue cruise from Top Station to Base Station along with the Daylodge Run.

Over the Aonach Bowl to the East Wall beyond. Ciste Gully, East and West Wall closed due to avalanche risk. Aonach Bowl great unpisted freshies.

Huge expanse of low level off-piste off the Daylodge Poma, all over the Windy Ridge with the Shuttle Bus enabling 2000ft of vert to the Ciste Carpark.

Warning at top of OverYonder - heed it. The West Wall Poma is not for the inexperienced, if you come off you are dumped on the steepest terrain on the hill and it's all unpisted.

Lone skier heads down the Daylodge Run.

'Working on priorities'.

Dropping into the White Lady by the old direct route that used to run under the White Lady Chairlift, rarely skiable now, but pisted today.

With a forecast for settled and fine conditions over the weekend, the 'Gorm is simply too good to miss just now.

There is all over ride anywhere cover in Coire Cas, with exceptional off-piste on the East Lady with the whole sweep out past the old Hut Route to the Daylodge Poma going off. The upper reaches of the East Lady now have sweet packed powder to get into the off-piste vibe on.

There's extensive groomers around the Cas Tow and and the Lower Slopes, the best option on the Carpark Run is neither, head straight down the middle between the Tow & Burnside. For long blue cruises head to the M2 or Fiacaill Traverse.

For novices and early intermediates the green runs at the top and bottom of the mountain are all pisted and offering great sport.

Off-piste stuff is being limited though by the considerable avalanche risk and some marked trails are also closed, the East & West Wall, Ciste Gully and on the Cas side Coronation Wall are closed. Though being assessed daily, ask patrol for the latest.

The full 2000ft of vertical is on offer to the Ciste Carpark via the Aonach Ridge (from top of DLP / OverYonder), the shuttle bus opens up a wide expanse of lower level off-piste and is a good means of uplift once the morning rush clears from the Ciste.

Best queue free riding tip, hit the Daylodge Poma, skiers left in amongst the little pine trees has some of sweetest snow, now known as the Daylodge Glades!

Arrive early, leave late and don't have lunch at lunchtime, that way you'll get as much riding as your legs can take, even on the busy days.
