 Area between Gunbarrel and Chicken Gully pisted, cross the Cas T-bar before foot of Gunbarrel as the last 100 yards is a mess thanks to lack of drifting!
|  Daylodge Poma is the place to be for queue free off-piste delights, visit the Daylodge Glades skiers left of the poma, but don't trip over the pine trees!

 Heading up the Fiacaill Ridge Poma as the cloud begins to lift and break on Thursday afternoon.
|  The M2 is absolutely loaded, a fantastic long blue cruise from Top Station to Base Station along with the Daylodge Run.

With a forecast for settled and fine conditions over the weekend, the 'Gorm is simply too good to miss just now.
There is all over ride anywhere cover in Coire Cas, with exceptional off-piste on the East Lady with the whole sweep out past the old Hut Route to the Daylodge Poma going off. The upper reaches of the East Lady now have sweet packed powder to get into the off-piste vibe on.
There's extensive groomers around the Cas Tow and and the Lower Slopes, the best option on the Carpark Run is neither, head straight down the middle between the Tow & Burnside. For long blue cruises head to the M2 or Fiacaill Traverse.
For novices and early intermediates the green runs at the top and bottom of the mountain are all pisted and offering great sport.
Off-piste stuff is being limited though by the considerable avalanche risk and some marked trails are also closed, the East & West Wall, Ciste Gully and on the Cas side Coronation Wall are closed. Though being assessed daily, ask patrol for the latest.
The full 2000ft of vertical is on offer to the Ciste Carpark via the Aonach Ridge (from top of DLP / OverYonder), the shuttle bus opens up a wide expanse of lower level off-piste and is a good means of uplift once the morning rush clears from the Ciste.
Best queue free riding tip, hit the Daylodge Poma, skiers left in amongst the little pine trees has some of sweetest snow, now known as the Daylodge Glades!
Arrive early, leave late and don't have lunch at lunchtime, that way you'll get as much riding as your legs can take, even on the busy days.
