Some whispy high cloud but plenty of glorious sunshine. -3 in car park at 10: 00, -1 at home time.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Best snow in Glas Maol gully, Sunnyside and Carn Aosda Blue. Everything else pretty much boiler plated over, especially on the Cairnwell side including the two race tracks. On the other side of the road, Caenlochan and the Coire Fionn Bowl were also fairly unpleasant experiences. No yummy powder this time. Needs another dose of fresh.

Still enormous cover, Warrens now joined up with the Goose and beyond, Summit gully crisp at the top improving as you go down, nice snow below Brokenheart and the managed the traverse out without hitting a rock, big improvement. Brokenheart is running well

hazy cloud which cleared through the afternoon. freezing level at car park when I arrived 11: 30am

Great, ski anywhere cover, the odd rock can be found off piste if you try hard enough! some ice patches off piste (presumably from wind). Chancers is icy for the first 10feet, then is lovely snow. Back Corries are a mixture of loose snow, hard pack, breakable crust and the odd soft patch, makes for interesting skiing!

Best snow IMHO skiers right (looking down) of Warrnens.

Worst snow IMHO Nid Ridge, rock hard, but just about took an edge.

Folk still skiing to the base of the gondola, looking fairly thin and brown towards the bottom.

Thin cloud cleared to give blue skies, cold dry and calm conditions. - Perfect afternoon, once again.

Snow frozen at all levels.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
All pisted runs well-filled. Some are best in years, especially Sunyside, Meall Odhar & Glas Maol. Due to snow arriving mostly from East this season. - The Sunnyside runs are fence-deep and possible to ski over fences in places not usually possible.

Popular runs geting polished & scraped by traffic, but enough loose snow to get turns. Best snow by far was in the short black direct gully off Glas Maol. Good soft snow, and a choice of lines including a cornice drop for those who like that sort of thing.

Off-piste is a kinda meaningless term at moment, since the cover is so wide, you can take different lines on the fringes of all marked pistes.

Few tourers about too, and there's scope on all neighbouring hills.

Maryhill CID were running an udercover operation on Meall Odhar, and DI Robbie Ross was spotted at the Cafe. - Cover broken, he asked if we had any intel on a guy codenamed GrowWild. : P

Thanks to DonaldM who put in a couple of hours scoping the slopes for best snow, before I arrived and benefited from his knowledge. - Good sport & good company for the day.
