Freezing level below car park. Believe the -6C at 900m forecast must have been right, with significant windchill on the ridges, it was a day for facemasks, but lovely when the sun made an appearance which it did occasionally! Wind up to 30mph or so on ridges maybe

Wow. Nuff said.

Amazing cover, Especially on west facing aspects which were loaded, with the inevitable scoured areas at the tops of these slopes. Spent most of the day on Glas Maol (once it got de-iced, and when it wasn't shut down due to an incident). When the weather cleared it was spectacular with deep pow off the piste and machined pow on. Black & west ridge closed due to avalanche risk (see photos) although a few were trying their luck (& ski patrol's patience).
Didn't go to Cairnwell side (only racetracks, Clay & access seemed to be open), and Maol too much fun anyway.

Freezing at all levels, very windy in the morning moderating later. Snowing on and off all day with some beefier showers towards the end helping to improve surfaces
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Cosmetic cover could be better with significantly less off piste now than 4 weeks ago albeit on the runs the snow depth is generally far greater. As well as blocking the ski road for several days it appears much of the snow has been blown over to Arran! The White Lady was in fantastic condition whilst the East Lady varied between good powder and wind ridges. Superb powder on Coronation wall gave the runs of the day. M1 and M2 in great order as was the day lodge run. Good off piste on both sides of the day lodge. Ptarmigan basin not open but looked great. The Ciste gully looked loaded and complete to the Ciste car park. All the lower runs in good order

Only the Cas side was open but all the runs had pisted powder that was lovely to ski. There's not much opportunity for off piste as many areas between the runs are scoured. Part of the East Lady had cover and it was was a mixture of firm wind packed powder, strugi, hard ice and some drifted powder.
The Lady is so wide , all the lower fences have gone. By the end of the afternoon the entry to it was a bit scraped because it was the only way in today.
Top marks to all the Cairngorm team for bashing out the drifts and making the pistes lovely.
