Tuesday was a cracker of a day after early morning mist cleared to leave a dry and sunny afternoon and fabulous crunchy fast spring snow. Photos say it all so get up enjoy the last few days of the season at Glencoe! No photos from today Wednesday as it was a very claggy day on the hill above the top of the access chair with rain in the afternoon, but it is to be turning colder overnight with snow forecast.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
There is still a very good cover and depth of snow on the upper mountain of Meall a' Bhuiridh with all the main runs and gully lines well filled including the still non existent haggis trap. Some walking is now required over a couple of rock bands and along the summit path to access top of Spring Run and the East ridge and also lower down over rocks to the Rannoch Glades. The Wall, Thrombosis and Canyon still have a very good depth of cover of snow and you can ski back to Cliffy chair at the burn bridge on Mugs Alley. Flypaper is presently closed due to a large crevasse on its top convex lip and to watch out for other crevasses marked and unmarked on the Spring Run and East Ridge area.

:: Weather Conditions
Low cloud and light rain giving poor visibility down to carpark level at 10: 00 then at lunchtime the cloud broke to give an excellent day, blue sky, sunshine and no wind.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
The snow from the cliff hanger up was good fast spring snow. Most of mid mountain up is skiable, Flypaper has massive crevasses and not recommended.
You have to carry your skis on the chair as the snow at the unload has gone but only a short walk to the white stuff.
