Freezing at car park. A blustery cold day with sunshine and squally snow showers and lots of spindrift.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
The wind has stripped bare some of the new snow cover from yesterday and there were sastrugi on exposed sections of Spring run and Etive Glades. Main Basin and Happy valley gave excellent skiing and the Wall was fantastic with deep snow. Spring run was for the more adventurous with some icy exposed sections higher up and sastrugi but lower down gave some really nice skiing. Flypaper and East Ridge both closed due to the considerable avalanche risk.

Clear day, wind negligible (despite forecast), 0c to -3c.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
The pistes around Meall Odhar / Coire Fionn were in nice shape, full cover packed snow and a bit powdery along the fences and on recently pisted stretches. Exception being the run from Meall Odhar poma back to cafe which was churned up lumpy ice.
Cluny + Tom Dearg also in nice shape.

The high traffic Sunnyside runs were 95% complete, but big bare patches with soil showing through... halfway down there was a need to slow right down and pick a way through. If like me you are using these only to return to base then its not a problem.

Glenshee has good overall cover. If there is new snow it will be awesome!
