Tracks coming down the top of Spikes

Summit gully

From the bottom of summit gully

Not much consolidated snow beyond the bottom of the coire. I didn't fancy trying to get round and down to Coire Dubh and Braveheart.

Boot track up the headwall of the core

Looking from the top of summit gully over to Spikes (which didn't ski as nice as it looked!)

Coming down the upper Goose at the end of the day (spot the well known scottish skier!)

Top of the summit tow

Entrance to easy gully.

Nevis and CMD looking lovely

:: Snow Conditions & Info
Summit runs have great cover. Goose good on top third but below that it's combat skiing really.

Over the back, summit gully was rideable with entrance pitch on skiers right. It narrows to a short ramp just below half way down - which was fun to ski - and then opens out again. Snow was firm with a layer of windblown fresh over the top.

Spikes was a bit icier at the top and then rocky in the middle third.

There doesn't seem to be any consolidated snow below the bottom of the coire so I didn't try to get out to Bravheart and Coire Dubh; instead skinned up to the coire headwall and then boot packed up the final steep pitch. This was fine with crampons but would have been sporty without them.
