A bit of a peasouper with freezing fog but still navigable

Ice forming on everything, including helmet, gloves, poles, eylashes

The new snow is starting to fill in areas, M1 still needs more snow for unloading.

M1 was spinning to try and get the ice off the components.

The cannons ran most of the day improving the surface of the zigzags

Surface of the zigzags getting much better.

Not very busy today but with the ski schools doing good trade the ciste tow queue got out of hand later in the afternoon. Some basic management would have stopped it going all the way back on to the fairway. Many times there was no queue at all.

Cas mini shred

Bast way back to base station is the Fiacaill run, good soft fresh snow

Looking over to the lower slopes from the ridge, officaly closed but you could make your way down

Looking up the Ridge run. Use side slope and the ridge run to get back down.

:: Weather Conditions
Bitterly cold, enough to freeze your eyelashes and make your jacket stiff as a board. Visibility was not the best but you could see at least two pylons if not three so it did not hamper the skiing too much. Light snow showers passing through all day but with a gentle wind they did not pose too much of a problem
:: Snow Conditions & Info
The fresh snow over the last 24 hours has improved the runs significantly. Top bowls were wide and soft ideal for beginners and flattering for intermediates. The traverse is soft and fast running but it is getting stony. Cas is a great ski. The cannons were on most of the day and the zigzags are improving. Ptarmigan, Ciste andpolar express running with the train doing mid station stops. Cas failed to run as one of the electrical cables for the mid station loading has become damaged and the guys are trying to repair..
