Looking down the 105, you could choose the 105 or the cas.

On the walk up in the pea soup. Bottom zigzag had a reasonable cover.

Looking over the the coronation wall, snow light a fluffy.

Looking over the the M1 unload station, good cover here

Entering the traverse.

Looking over to the Ptarmigan Bowl. This area is wide and deep, good for playing around in.

Top of the West Wall Poma. This would have been a good ski down to the Ciste t-bar but we chose to head over to the traverse.

Looking up from the carpark.

The bridge above the daylodge. The snow is thin here, not for your best skis.

Looking down the gun barrel. Best to stick to the tow path. It was compacted with foot fall and other skiers.

Mid traverse, big drifts, fun!

Zigzags with good cover.

More drifts on the lower traverse, difficult to walk through but fun coming back down.

Combat Skiing on lower slopes.

Crossover from 105 to cas.

A bit of pea soup at the beginning but then the sun came out to give a lovely crisp day, just below zero at most levels.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Snow was fresh and firming up at the bottom, soft and fluffy at the top. This is not a good report to compare the runs as conditions change very quickly this early in the season, it is just to get the juices flowing for what we hope is to come. A nice walk up to the top and ski down to the mid station then combat down to the car park.
