:: Weather Conditions
Morning was bright, some cloud in valley floor and higher up well above summit. The whole ski area was free from cloud. In the afternoon it become more cloudy all around, dark to the East and North but Nevis Range kept nice and clear. A touch of hill fog at the summit now and again but this quickly dissapeared. Quite warm down by the base but FL probably half way up the hill. This lifted slighlty later before coming down again as snow flurries began at 4pm.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Snow was in amazing shape! Fresh snow right to the top of the Gondola. Access to Quad was complete and full width. Everywhere had 4" fresh powder. All runs fully loaded. Skiing was possible out from the fences but caution required as the odd rock hidden. Back Corries were amazing. Cornices solid and safe. Snow very nice, prone to sloughing in the afternoon. Traverse back complete, bit stony right at the end.
