Winterhighland's mid mountain webcams on CairnGorm are located near the foot of the White Lady at 2500ft, in the Scottish Ski Club Hut. During winter three cams give a view over the White Lady, mid-station area and the Ski Club Hut Balcony to the lower slopes. As of 10th May the cameras are now in summer posistion giving a view accross the Balcony and Mid Station to the Fiacaill Ridge and a view out the North end of the Hut towards the Base Station, Loch Morlich and Glenmore and Aviemore Beyond.

View SSW from the Hut Balcony. First image approx. 05.16hrs.
Last image at 21.00hrs.
This camera looks over the balcony, across towards the mid-station and the hill road (lower Zig Zags) towards the Fiaciall Ridge. The balcony means there should always be something in view whatever the visibility and the decking provides a good gauge of winter snow falls.
The Lower White Lady Cam is now off-line for the Summer. Camera locations have been adjusted for the Summer to reduce length of direct exposure to the sun which without snow cover on the ground causes extensive backlighting issues and potential damage to the cameras. It is also hoped that these views will be more useful in Summer for gauging weather and cloud cover than the winter posistions which were intended for assessing snow cover.
