An Chul Choire and Summit Gully, return visit (video and map of first trip here from last year: - http://www.steepscotland.info/aonach_mor.cfm)
Not quite as much snow as last year but gully still holds snow really well, careful not to go too far left as cliff band at the bottom.
:: Weather Conditions
Excellent clarity and lovely views. Warm in the sun with almost no wind. Wind picked up after 3pm and started to cloud over but still best day of season so far.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Very variable, perfect powder low on summit gully and slopes below down to bottom of Braveheart. Pretty good powder in An Chul Choire and lovely ridge descent down to col above. Some areas of wind slab and/or ice especially at tops of slopes or on ridges.

To the March burn, a shuftie about the Plateau then along the Northern Corries rim to the Ski Center.
:: Weather Conditions
Clear but gusty in exposed areas. Macdui shrouded in cloud. It was cold enough to freeze the water bottle and a banana inside my sack.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Variable, thin, icy sections on the way up. Bands of pow in-between crusty, hard slabs on the Plateau. On quite a lot of the way up I just walked, picking a way between the rocks.

Loch Muick heading south toward Capel Mounth, return by same
:: Weather Conditions
Very windy, cold, but with strong sun. Freezing level just above car park.
On plateau, I was being blown over, so I retreated.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Lots of wind blown soft snow. Some patches of harder windslab, all on a firm-crusty base. Some areas scoured, but tracks mostly filled in. Lots of grass and heather showing off track. Very difficult to see the different snow patches.
Some drivers didn't make it up the road, but it was fine with winter tyres or chains. Ploughed to tarmac by noon. Take a shovel for the car park.
