Report
:: Tour Route(s) or Location Skied/Ridden
Skinned from Coire Cas car park at 07: 50 up Fiacaill a' Choire Chais to 1141 spot height. Traversed along the plateau and then down to Diagonal gully. Descended Diagonal and skipped across the Allt Coire Domhain at the head of Loch Avon without getting feet too wet!

Skinned out of the Loch Avon basin up to Loch Etchachan and then boot packed to the summit of Carn Etchachan (1120m) Descended to the entrance of Castlegates Gully and skied down Castlegates to return to the Loch Avon basin.

At this point someone suggested we take a look at Pinnacle gully so rather than skin back up, we boot packed up the gully. Descended Pinnacle gully to reach the Loch Avon basin for the third and final time. Skinned and boot packed out via a rather warm Coire Domhain to reach Alladins and the fourth and final gully of the day. Traversed out of Sneachda to reach the car park.

Four grade 1 gullies, one river crossing and three tired but happy skiers arrived at the car park 9 hours after leaving.
:: Weather Conditions
Cloudy until mid morning with increasing sun in the afternoon.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Reached Diagonal Gully around 09: 30 so the snow was in good condition despite the mild temps. Castlegates and Pinnacle receive less exposure to the sun and were in very good condition with Pinnacle having marginally the better snow. Alladins was much heavier but it was late afternoon before we skied it.
