Average / poor vis for most of the day. Good enough though. Low cloud until about 3.00pm and then cloud lifted.

All the runs that were open had a pretty good cover on nice soft snow. The snow was a bit sticky / wet in places but it was being topped up throughout the day. For the first day the cover was good... I've certainly skied much worse. I didn't see any rocks and skis survived intact.

Cloudy with snow in the morning before clearing in the afternoon with a few sunny spells. Light winds.

Generally good cover on most runs. Eaglet had excellent cover as did the buzzard. Car park 3/4 full.

Cloudy most of day with snow showers, clearing late afternoon. - Good Scottish day out. Lower run softening, then firming up at end of day.

Excellent start to Glenshee season, with fair cover on the open runs, with 6 lifts running. Busy but lifts running smoothly & queues moving along OK. Never a problem.

Good surface mostly on all open runs. Nicely prepared by and large. Runs from Green-to-Red available, so something for all people today. Race track off Cairnwell was prob best run and quietest.

Several W-Highlanders up today. Nice to meet Hustler & Steelytail. Good atmosphere today, happy skiers & boarders, and piste machines working to get more runs open.

Overcast and generally in cloud with visibility circa 50 - 100 metres with some snow showers

Excellent for so early in the Glenshee season. Stayed on the Sunnyside where the conditions underfoot improved as the day went on, more snow fell and the morning softening snow hardened slightly. Queues far smaller than expected with no more than 5 mins waiting max. Difficult to judget how conditions are higher up but I'm sure the Glas Maol side will be well plastered
