Very little wind and blue skies most of the day - very very cold however.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Most of the hill has good cover - easily able to ski to bottom of the quad and top station. Goose had a few rocks showing but other wise has good cover with a mix of powder and hard pack snow they had started grooming it around 1pm which improved conditions, side winder giving very nice skiing. Should be a cracking weekend!

The road was closed from Blairgowrie side until lunchtime, high winds and drifting snow. When we arrived at lunchtime though it was blue skies and very little wind. Cold but not that we felt it much.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Cover was excellant, lots of soft fresh snow and very few icy patches to be found in comparison to the previous day.

Chilly, low cloud & that slightly freaky light that comes with this. Little wind except for about an hour, mid-afternoon. Felt sub-zero all day but that's just a guess.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Off piste was firm, must have thawed on tuesday & refrozen overnight. Very occasional icy patch, deep,deep drifts. Ski anywhere. Piste basher was hard at it all day & the pistes were lovely, grippy snow. With the decent viz & hero snow, I was looking for something steeper.

light snow all day with poorish visibility. The wind got up at about 3.30 giving an excuse to head down early without loss of face!
:: Snow Conditions & Info
I stuck the lower slopes where conditions were good with powdery new snow, a few icy bits occasionally ie top of Mugs Alley to keep you alert! Partner skied the main basin a couple of times and although visibility poor said the snow was good.
PS shame that the cafe at the bottom was closing as we all came down for hot drinks and cake! We got served, and very good it was too but the chairs on the tables and the mopping round your feet were giving off a distinctive "closed" message and we heard people that were put off.
