Perfect. - Blue sky, cold dry snow, not a breath of wind to spoil it. - Perfect. (was -10c at car by end of day...we hung about till light was gone)
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Sunnyside, Butcharts, Carn Aosda & Cairnwell runs open at start of day. - Cluny & Tom Dearg in afternoon.

Mostly fine dry packed powder snow, with excellent grip & stability. Range of off piste at the fringes, including Carn Aosda. Occasional scraped icy patch, but nothing major.

A truly outstanding day of blue skies and lovely snow. When Cluny opened, it was the most lovely packed powder snow. A pleasure to glide along and roll with the wee natural bumps.

Floodlight skiing on Claybokie after dark. - We got last lift up & walked to summit of CarnAosda, before making a twilight descent. - Just wonderful.

Early in the day I closed my eyes...and all I could hear was laughter and joy. - Days like this linger for ever.

Good cover most places, a bit scraped on lower mountain though.
Off piste becoming very bumpy and hard going, but pockets of fresh still to be had.
All in all still a very good day, but not as good as boxing day.

Bluebird in the morning up until around 14: 00 when it got a bit grey and overcast
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Lots of snow at the top of the mountain and enough to get by lower down. Saw a few brave souls making the carpark run at the end which I wished I'd attempted. Runs themselves had good cover and almost every run provided the opportunity to get some fresh tracks as long as you didn't mind hitting the odd unexposed rock just beneath the surface! Overall, an excellent day

Blue skies and sunshine all day, with negligible wind. Below freezing at car park level all day.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Nice cover of packed powder snow, with just a few icy patches on the race tracks and the odd bit of heather showing through here and there. Best snow could be found in Butchart's coire and the waist-deep powder off-piste on Carn Aosda. Tom Dearg and Cluny 2 open by 2: 30pm, and Beag open by 3pm. No small children allowed on Cluny 2 - presumably due to lack of depth on the poma uptrack. Both car parks were full by lunchtime and long queues for most lifts in the afternoon - would help if people would please double up on T-bars!
