Sunshine all day. Very little wind.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Some grade 5 powder over the mountain today.

Played on the powder field to the Lady side of the WW poma in the morning , but most were playing on the field to the east of the ptarmigan tow.

Skied down towards Loch Avon for lunch on some powder but also some crusted and windpacked.

Skied brilliant powder on the East Lady then rock hopped down the lower Lady and walked down to get the train.

Finished off by walking up to the summit and skiing Coronation Wall which also had superb powder but lurking rocks. Home by the Fiaciall traverse which was excellent until the Fiaciall run.

Brilliant day , but what will it be like tomorrow after the overnight easterly gales and snow/rain has passed ??

Bluebird & calm! (at at least very light winds). Awesome day at the 'Gorm. Still grinning : -). FL must have been not too far above car park first thing, raised during the day.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Great conditions in the Ptarmigan / Ciste bowls. Lots of people shredding the off-piste powder off the Ptarmigan ridge. Fully tracked out by early afternoon. Ciste fairway & pisted Partmigan run (a few rocks at the top) running nicely on skier packed or pisted powder. Ciste & Ptarmigan and the polar express were the running tows. Came down the Cas side at the end. M1 amazing if you could avoid the rocks & found some really deep stuff outside the left fence. Gave up around timing hut level as it was too rocky even for my tatty old planks. Was worth the walk out tho! Not enough snow yet to run any tows on that side (expect maybe the upper cas?).
