Tow maintance due to hangers dragging and catching in the snow.

Great snow cover across the ski area

Looking south towards Helvelyn, great winter climbing conditions due to the recent freeze/thaw cycles.

Nice walk up this morning above the cloud inversion, only another 2,500ft to go!

Digging channels for the tow hangers to run in due to over a metre or more of consolidated snow.

A beautiful Lake District winters day thank's to a week ridge of high pressure. No wind and freezing around 800m..ish
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Raise despite th recent thaw still has fantastic snow cover with 50-100 c.m. on all run's, so much snow that some time was spent today digging the top part of the tow out today. The thaw has consolidated the snow pack, leaving it icy and hard today but well established for the season ahead.
