:: Weather Conditions
overcast start with cloud over top runs, but soon cleared up to mainly blue skies and sun. Cold air though, but great views.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Windblown powder over a hard base. Plenty of fresh tracks available all day. Even the hard base wasn't too icy. Plateau runs in great shape for beginners - full width with soft powders snow...no rocks or icy bits at all. Etive Glades was fantastic for the fresh snow, way out west and right down to the bottom of the lower T bar...just watch out for hidden rocks. Sometimes the bumps were hard base snow, others were rock !. Rannoch Glades had loads more snow than normal, but the Spring run has a rocky bit towards the bottom. You could easily get 2/3 way down the car park run, but it was very scratch after that. I did see one guy slither all the way to the bottom but I chose to save my base & edges and walk the last 10 mins...still quicker than chair down.
