:: Snow Conditions & Info
At Aonach Mor today the snow was plentifull with wide cover to the front and end of the hill providing good off piste in various locations. The Goose and Warrens provided good sport. Out west was reported to be good as indeed was the Rabbit. Flight was in great shape and provided great skiing after lunch with many also skiing off piste directly down the opposite side of Warrens tow from flight. The Nid Wall was very wide and although the entry was roped off provided good sport for the few who limbo'd it under the string, it was quite icy at the top dropping onto pockets of soft lower down to catch the unwary (see pics) All in all its never quite Alpine at Aoanah Mor but today was certainly one of the closest, just dont expect much untracked stuff Sunday, we tanned it all today!!!!!!!! But there certainly should be some great skiing.
For back coire junkies there is a fair bit of snow right to the bottom of brokenheart but its currently a CAT 4 with a lot waiting to drop so best let it consolidate for a while yet!!!!! there is plenty elsewhere.
HAPPY SKIING !!!!!!!!!!
