 Managed to ski to here. Level with the bridge
|  Linking snow patches and sliding over the grass took me to 50 metres of the restaurant steps.

I walked over to the chair and headed up by the stream. There was snow at the foot of the Goose and I followed snowshoe and footprints of a couple that must have gone up earlier. Eventually the footprints were about 18 inches deep so I started skinning at tower 4.
I went as far as the summit of Aonach Mor looking at the gullys on the way. Between Easy and Summit I witnessed a fairly large cornice collapse with subsequent rumbling but decided not go over to see how much had gone !
I was able to ski all the way back to the weather station.
Had a run down Summit then Spider then Spider again and the Goose. The snow on the summit was good but the snow on the Goose was perfection. Wished I'd had more time for another run. I managed to ski down on snow to the bridge at the foot of the Goose then pick my way down over snow patches and slippy grass to within 50 metres of the restaurant steps.
Absolutely brilliant day. Someone had been up yesterday and skied the Goose but I had the snow to myself today. Everyone was on the downhill mountain bike track !
