Bit of everything. Light to moderate wind. Mist, sun, snow shower, rain shower. Only below freezing above the Ptarmigan.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Still great cover with all runs complete and acres of off piste to explore.
The snow was soft over most of the hill, spring like, and only sticky lower down in the afternoon.
The Aonach bowl was great and go anywhere. The Ciste gully was skiable to the car park except for a very short section of grass at the edge of the burn on the final section. Laogh Mor was good and with route picking complete all the way.
A little bit of heather hopping was needed on the traverse out from Sneachda. The Daylodge Glades still provided tree skiing
Coronation Wall was really excellent and worth the pole into the wind from the top of the Ptarmigan tow.
After the races finished the White Lady and M1 were superb, lovely crunchy spring snow with little bumps.
Another good day
