 Bernie's 62nd day on English snow. Quite likely an English record. More remarkable still when you consider that is a total of at least 93,000 of ascent over 3 months.....and he happens to be 78 years young !!!

An excellent day. Very light winds with good visibility and some sun early and late. in the middle however a very heavy shower of wet snow. Freezing level generally above the runs but with the temperature dropping to -0.1C in the shower.

Heavy grippy snow. Actually very good to ski on but you had to give it the beans. nice and soft to fall in. presidents and Savages complete with some big drifts over the fences in places and a big 7 foot cormice just out of webcam shot to the right. A relaly large amount of snow had fallen mid week.
