Nice enought day with a northerly breeze bring with it more winter weather we hope.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Ok the tow line is a bit dodgy for a bit for the first couple of pilons, but being nice and slow the grass slides fine. The 2 runs available down Savages Gully and Hut Face have hard packed smooth snow which provides fast grippy skiing. Would be great to get more snow with such a good base down...
The run home down the west side of Raise gave me a good 1200ft vertical before I had to resort to grass skiing, but with all the practise I had had on the tow all day it was a doddle to keep going untill the Fell wall around another 1200ft down.
