Well worth the effort and plenty of other options too in the right conditions..

Bumped into the Three Wise Men...bearing bikes rather than gifts..watched them sample the off pists on Glas Maol..respect!

Unexpected blue skies with only a little cloud near the summit of Glas Maol. No wind and relatively mild temperatures compared to the previous week

Very little snow loss even with increasing temperatures. Groomed stuff is fairly polished but softer snow was found off the beaten track in Banana Couloir nr Little Glas Maol and on the SW face off the ridge between Glas Maol and Creag Leacach.
