Windy in morning, overcast with spindrift.
[Derailment on pylon 3 cuased long lunchbreak]
Wind dropped in afternoon, breaks in cloud so good vis.

Skinned up from Greenburn car park.
Mostly excellent (fresh powder on firm base) on Presidents and Hut Face. Occasional scoured patches of sheet ice or crusty older snow.
Full cover on all runs but Outer Mongolia reported as variable (see above).
Many skied back to path below Stang End at dusk.
A great day for Bernie's 79th birthday.
