:: Snow Conditions & Info
Today was a great surprise. After the thaw and subsequent freeze I was expecting ice everywhere, but that certainly wasn't the case on the runs above mid level.
They had pisted up beautifully with ample cover to forget about the hard base. The snow cover was finest on the Cas and 105 almost icing sugar like, but more crystalline on the Lady and M1 runs.
All were great but my pick of the afternoon was M1.

The lower slopes were a bit icy outside the base station but still skiable via Burnside. The top bowl was the palce to learn although it did have less loose cover than the middle runs.

Off piste was knee shuddering and not to be recommended so I avoided the M2 which although complete would have led to the broken, unpisted, and I suspect probably very icy dayloge.

Excellent afternoon
