Sunshine, below freezing, very little wind. Perfect
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Good skiing on well pisted runs although edges were required to make it fun. Lady ,M1,Cas, 105 all had fine pisted snow on the hard base. M1 sidetrack had slightly coarser snow.
Ptarmigan bowl was resulting in lots of smiles from the beginner classes
Took a skin up to the summit . The snow here was grippy but hard and juddering on the legs.
Was tempted into the Ciste gully by the stashes of powder lying at the top but there were few stashes lower down and it was very hard icy ski but it is complete to the boardwalk. Decided to cut over to the Daylodge rather than skin back up the gully which on reflection probably wasn't the best choice as the daylodge was not a lot of fun.
Skiing down via Burnside was fine though.
Lovely day to be out.
