:: Snow Conditions & Info
The Cas is still full length and wide thanks to the excellent patching by the pisting team and shovelling by ski patrol. Nice spring snow and good moguls in the gunbarrel.
The Ptarmigan Bowl still has cover and the tow now has a well constructed get off ramp just below the upper section. There are still large kickers in the park.
For those prepared to skin/walk back up the mile to the Ptarmigan tow the Ciste gully is in great condition.
The Lady has excellent crunchy snow in the upper section below the tunnel, and it can be linked to the lower section by skiing over some soft grass.
I hoofed up the Cas headwall and enjoyed the ski down on varied snow.
Great afternoon, and top marks to Cairngorm for bringing out all the stops to keep running.
