:: Weather Conditions
Mainly dry, but very misty from the mid station up.
Strong NW wind made the skin up pleasant but goggles were needed when coming down. Freezing above the mid station.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
A dusting at car park level but by the lower 105 I needed to put the skins on as it was too deep to easily walk.
Big drifts on the traverse, and the Ptarmigan traverse and the Marquis Wells path area had firm good cover.
It was possible to skin to the summit but too thin and windy to ski down dodging the rocks.
Apart from the scoured area outside the restaurant it was possible to ski from the top of Marquis Wells to the top zig zag.
Too misty to see what the top bowl was like... maybe tomorrow !
