Clear, sun at times, calm in the morning but the wind picked up late afternoon. Very cold
:: Snow Conditions & Info
The top bowl had well pisted powder giving excellent skiing from the Ptarmigan and Ciste tows.

The Cas side was worked on all day by the machines, and when it opened near the end of the day it too was in good shape. Lower Zig Zags are thin but it was possible to ski to the daylodge via Burnside

The summit is still rocky and the plateau cover looked thin.

Good opening day
