Looking north up the west side of the 'Raise' Massif. Less snow but still plenty to go at for touring and snow kiting. Good skiing to about 1200ft asl

Simply staggering amount of snow has fallen/blown in over the main runs. An almighty of digging will have to be done to get the tow running.

Pylon 1 looking down to the engine hut

The enigne hut...just, with the new loo aptley named the powder room totaly buried.

Looking across from the members hut at a phemonanal snow drift. Please stop snowing and can we have a thaw....

:: Weather Conditions
Raise sat just about cloud base whist I was there. About 0c and a fresh westly breeze.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Well the tow has been engulfed by the massif about of snow that has blown in. There's going to have to be a big effort to get the tow dug out, but that's the plan and hopefully will be open on Saturday. Snow is consolidated wind blow powder reaching up to around 4m of depth on the lower half of the main runs.
