Lovely clear and very cold day with almost no wind.

Most of the front of the mountain runs very hard packed although groomed areas were skiing nicely. The very bottom of the goose was awkward with patches of water ice. Summit gully was well tracked out but there was excellent snow in Spikes. You can ski to the bottom of Braveheart but there are loads of rocks and the snow is dangerously icy. I needed harscheisen to skin out from there.
